Design Ideas
Create Walls with a Vision! Our Wall Wizard® System gives you endless opportunities to turn a ho-hum wall into a creative wallscape. Whether you prefer a simple style or have a flair for the dramatic, our Wall Wizard frames and inserts offer easy and affordable decorating solutions. To help you get started we created a guide to creating some simple designs.
Rectangular Rules

Creating a focal point is easy with our Wall Wizard® System. Using six frames, you can easily hang in a rectangular pattern to make the perfect backdrop for a loveseat or headboard. Keep Wall Wizard frames approximately 1-3" apart when positioning in a rectangular-shaped design. By simply hanging from only one of the hooks on the frame’s backside, you instantly create a diamond-shaped accessory for added interest. Mix and match our inserts and use your own photos in the frames to personalize the space.

More Creative Ideas
Make the most of our Wall Wizard frames and inserts by mixing and matching in various patterns or using throughout your home. Here are a few ideas to help get you started.
- Mix and match our Wall Wizard frames and the Ultimate Wall Wizard frames for more variety in groupings.
- Include our Wall Word Trio next to your Wall Wizards to accent your photo gallery.
- Accessorize your walls with Wall Words and Wall Wizards.
- Hang two to three Wall Wizard frames on either side of current artwork to create a quick new look. Pick inserts that complement the main piece of art. For example, if you have a pretty botanical picture, you can add the Passing Thyme Insert to the Wall Wizard frames that flank both sides of the artwork.
- Begin a wall of fame down a long hallway with our Wall Wizard frames and Photo Inserts. This is a great way to tell a story about a wedding, family history or the milestones in you or your family’s life. Position frames in a horizontal row at eye level for an art gallery feel and to make it easy for those who walk down this hallway to view the photos.

- All of our Wall Wizard inserts fit our Versatile Reversible Shelf. You can add photos of a child’s sporting events and then place trophies or memorabilia on the shelf. This also is a great shelf to showcase hobbies or collectibles. The possibilities to personalize this shelf are endless.

Hanging Tips
- Before you pick up a hammer and nail, lay out your Wall Wizard frames with inserts on the floor so you can get a good idea of how it will look on the wall.
- If hanging above a sofa or bed, place the Wall Wizard frames and inserts on the floor in front of this furniture so you see where they should be positioned and how much space your design will cover.
- Create a paper template. Place frames on a large piece of kraft paper until you have your desired look. With a pencil, trace pattern around frames. Cut out frame pattern on kraft paper. Hang cut out paper template on wall using masking tape. When you have your desired look, hammer nails into paper. Remove paper and hang frames on nails.

Designer Tips
Frank Says: "Think Outside the Box!"
The Learning Channel's Frank Bielec of Trading Spaces shares design tips on how the Wall Wizard can easily transform any wall or space. This design guru says, "The Wall Wizards are amazing!" Here are some creative concepts for using The Wall Wizard System in your home from Frank. See our 2009 Spring/Summer Idea Book for more amazing organizing and decorating ideas from Frank.
- Think in groupings! There’s nothing wrong with hanging family pictures. Hang in the same Wall Wizard frames (using the Photo Frame Insert) to give it a cohesive look.
- For a quick tabletop transformation, use the Mirror Insert and place a candle in a holder on top.
- Use sets of Black and Cream Wall Wizards and display your images in a checkerboard pattern—your move.
- Stripes are big right now. How about using sets of Black and Cream Frames and place them in horizontal or vertical stripes?
- Take your family mementos and using several sets of the Wall Wizard frames, create a block letter. Use the first letter of your last name to form a monogram above the family room wall.
- Use the frames and inserts as a crown for above your door or window—two rows staggered around a door or window will look great. If above a door, display a few keys inside the frames for an added touch.
- Display your Wall Wizards in vertical rows behind a sofa—it’s better than one.
